At BestStart Vivian Street, we create a sense of belonging for every child.

We take the time to build meaningful relationships with tamariki and whānau, creating a nurturing environment where children feel valued, confident and empowered to explore their interests through child-led learning experiences.

Located in a beautiful villa in the heart of New Plymouth, our centre offers a warm, homely atmosphere that truly feels like a home away from home. Surrounded by the natural beauty of our maunga and moana, we celebrate the diverse cultures, languages and backgrounds of our community to create an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

During the terms, we aim to have regular excursions to help us get out into the community and offer the tamariki a different space to explore and learn different things. We also have very well-planned, well-thought-out holiday programs that provide unique experiences for our tamariki in our centre.
