How do you support babies with different learning needs?
Every baby learns and develops in their own way. Supporting different learning needs means understanding each child's strengths, interests, abilities and areas where they may benefit from additional support, so they can participate confidently in everyday learning experiences.
Children develop at different rates and may engage with learning in different ways. Responsive, individualised support helps ensure every child feels included, valued and able to build on their existing skills. When learning experiences are adapted to meet a child's needs, children are better able to explore, communicate, build relationships and develop confidence.
At BestStart, our teachers take time to understand each baby's unique strengths, interests and developmental needs. Learning experiences are adapted to support individual children, and when additional support is needed, we work closely with families and, where appropriate, other professionals. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where every baby feels a sense of belonging and can thrive.
