Kuaka`s sore from the nest of ECE to Kura
Kuaka Blog February 2024 Graduation is a big step for our children in our Kuaka room as they spread their wings and begin their new journey as they move onto school. At BestStart Omokoroa we love to celebrate this wonderful achievement with the children and their loved ones.
Recently we had a large group of children all heading off for school at the same time so we decided an evening graduation for all those children and families would be the best way to celebrate their achievement of moving onto school. We were able to invite all children and their loved ones along to join us in celebrating this achievement at the centre.
Each child was able to have their own special moment with their family, where the child could walk in in their graduation cap and gown. Shared a special moment with their teacher as they sat in their graduation chair and where the child was then presented their personalised bag with their set for school goodies such as ruler, book bag, pencils and much more.
We finished off the evening with a graduation song that the children had prepared with the support of their teachers before everyone enjoying some nibbles and sharing this special celebration together.
