At BestStart Stokes Valley, together, we enrich the lives of others!

You will find us down the end of Young Grove, a quiet cul de sac, in the heart of Stokes Valley. We are only a 2 min walk for all the local amenities including the supermarket, other shops, the library, swimming pool and the Koraunui Community Hub.

We believe that the diversity and uniqueness of every child, family member and teacher contribute to enriching our centre life. We value our community and understand it takes a village to raise a child and aim to create a safe haven where we can work together and allow children to grow and explore. We have whānau from a wide variety of cultures including Pacifika, Indian, Phillipines, Italy, Ireland, Fiji and Croatia. Our team are also from a wide variety of cultures which adds to the uniqueness of Beststart Stokes Valley.

We are currently in the process of establishing regular excursions to the library, Koraunui Community Hub, Tawhai school, and the local kōhanga reo. We work closely with Tawhai School who come and visit the centre regularly (on a termly basis)

We have a dedicated team who pride themselves on creating a warm, loving environment for both children and their families, where feedback and working together in partnership is valued.

We are a small but close team with each teacher bringing their own unique skills to the table. With regular professional development and learning from one another we are consistently upskilling to provide the best possible care and education to our BestStart Stokes Valley family.
