We’re thrilled to bring you our updates for September. The Kenderdine team has been deeply touched by the outpouring of support and contributions from our fathers and grandfathers as we celebrated their special day - Father’s Day.

It was a day filled with joyous activities and unforgettable memories for our fathers, grandfathers, supermoms, and their children. We also expressed our gratitude to our supermoms for their exceptional role in supporting their entire whanau. Of course, no special day is complete without food and festivities.

Our dads, granddads, and moms relished the delectable feast prepared by the centre. We would like to express our gratitude to Bunnings Manukau for their support with DIY resources. Our children were immensely proud to see their dads and granddads participate in room experiences, receive gifts, and be serenaded with special waiata by the children.

These experiences have once again reinforced our strong bond with the entire Kenderdine whanau (whanaungatanga). As we look forward to more celebrations and events, we aim to help our tamariki appreciate diverse cultures while continuing to foster and strengthen our community culture and relationships. "Children and their families experience an environment where connecting links with the families and the wider world are affirmed and extended" (Belonging, Te Whariki 2017)
