How long does settling into childcare usually take?

Every child settles into childcare at their own pace. Some children feel comfortable within a few weeks, while others need longer to adjust to new people, routines and surroundings.

There's no set timeline for settling because every child is different. Factors such as your child's age, temperament, previous experiences and how often they attend childcare can all influence how quickly they adjust. It's also normal for children to have good days and more challenging days as they become familiar with their new environment.

Our teachers work closely with you throughout the settling process, providing consistent care, regular communication and reassurance. Together, we'll support your child to build confidence and feel safe, secure and settled over time.
