It's completely normal for babies to need time to adjust to childcare. Our teachers provide extra comfort, reassurance and responsive care to help your baby feel safe as they settle into new routines and relationships.

Every baby adjusts to childcare differently. During the settling period, some babies may cry more than usual or find it harder to sleep while they become familiar with a new environment, new people and different routines. Our teachers respond patiently to your baby's individual cues, offering comfort, quiet spaces and familiar settling techniques that help them feel secure.

As your baby builds trusting relationships with their teachers, they usually become more confident and settled. We'll keep you updated on how your baby is adjusting and work with you to support their sleep and wellbeing both at home and at childcare.
